Whatever your aspirations and experience, our camps are designed to give confidence to the most nervous of horse or rider, whilst providing challenges to those wanting a break in their usual routine. All of this coupled with spending time with like-minded people in a fun, educational atmosphere and the chance to “talk horses” to Jason and the team over delicious home-cooked meals in stunning surroundings! 

 

This 2 Day Hacking Camp includes: 

  • Foundation Groundwork and Ridden Work from Your Horsemanship program 

  • How to Ride in Groups 

  • Farm and Woodland Hacking 

  • Road Hacking

  • Negotiating Obstacles 

  • Expert Demonstration/Presentation/Workshop 

  • Homecooked Food and drink to include tea, coffee and snacks along with Day 1 Buffet/ Picnic Lunch and Two Course Hot Dinner, Day 2 Cooked Breakfast, Buffet/ Picnic Lunch and Afternoon Tea (dietary requirements can be accommodated wherever possible) 

  • Individual turnout for your horse on a DIY basis (please note that fencing is a combination of wood and electric), or stabled full livery option at additional cost of £30/night. Both include ad-lib haylage. 

Free camping on site (tents or horseboxes), limited basic accommodation on site or plenty of B&B/ hotel options locally. 

Arrival from 7.30am (arrival between 3-4.30pm the previous afternoon can be arranged). The Camp starts at 10am on Day 1 and finishes at approximately 3.30pm on Day 2. 

Booking: Book by purchasing a ticket to this event. Payment is secure and it goes directly to Your Horsemanship Ltd.

Entry Fee: £375. A £100 non-refundable deposit is taken on booking and the remaining balance invoiced 6 weeks in advance of the camp. Your Horsemanship Members receive a 10% discount which will be automatically deducted at checkout. The invoiced balance will include the 10% discount provided membership is still active at the time of issue.

Spectator Fee: £25 per day payable on the day. Please note that you are welcome to bring a “helper”, but they will not be able to fence sit (i.e. listen and learn from the course day) without paying the spectator fee.

You will be asked for your full details, any medical requirements and stabling/ paddock requirements in advance of the Camp, when you will also receive a detailed itinerary.
