The Inside Track; Open Yard Day 30th August 2024

Come and immerse yourself into the daily working lives of these three exceptional horsemen, ask questions and take away tips, techniques and exercises to use on your own horse.
This is a unique chance to watch Your Horsemanship Director, Jason Webb and Head Trainer, Hamish Gillanders, working with young horses at different stages of their starting program, and horses with behavioural and ridden issues.
We are also welcoming our neighbour, NZ Olympic Eventer, Jesse Campbell, who will be riding with two of his horses at different stages of their education.
What you need to know;
* You will view eight horses at different stages of their training during the day; from youngsters having their first rides to international event horses.
* There will be a chance for Q&A at lunchtime.
* You may need to move to different areas of the farm to view the training.
* Whilst we have seating, please bring a comfy chair that is easy to move around.
* We will have some food and drink on the go, but you are welcome to bring a picnic.
* We do not work in an indoor school, so dress for the weather (although we have undercover seating & function room).
* Gates open at 9.30am, and the day runs from 10am – 4pm with an hour’s lunchbreak.
* Your Horsemanship members receive discounted tickets.
