Perfect for those with a young horse, or those wishing to gain confidence before entering competitive events. Jason and 5* event rider, Olympian and coach, Camilla Kruger, will be on hand to help, whatever your aspirations and experience.
This Road to Competition Course Day includes:
- Foundation Ground and Ridden Work from Your Horsemanship program
- Settling Your Horse at an Event
- Riding a Dressage Test – tips and techniques
- Riding a Show Jumping Course – tips and techniques (all heights catered for from poles – 1m)
- Negotiating Obstacles
- Tea and coffee included (bring your own lunch/snacks)
- Paddock (£10/night or day) or Stable (£30/night) are available if required
Booking: Book by purchasing a ticket to this event. Payment is secure and it goes directly to Your Horsemanship Ltd.
Entry Fee: £115 (this event is limited to 6 attendees) Your Horsemanship Members receive a 10% discount by using their discount code at checkout.
Spectator Fee: £25. Please note that you are welcome to bring a “helper” on the day, but they will not be able to fence sit (i.e. listen and learn from the course day) without paying the spectator fee.
You will be asked for your full details, any medical requirements and stabling/ paddock requirements 4 weeks in advance of the Course Day, when you will also receive a detailed itinerary.
By booking on this event, you are agreeing to the following Terms and Conditions;
Refunds
Up to 48 hours before the event, 80% of entry fee is refundable only with a veterinary/ doctors certificate (20% of entry fee is retained to cover administration costs). We regret we cannot refund the entry fee within 48 hours of the event. In the event of cancellation, the organisers reserve the right to keep 20% of the entry fee to cover administration costs.
Horse Health
Please be aware that despite rigorous quarantine and hygiene systems in place at Your Horsemanship, there remains a small risk of your horse contracting an illness. If your horse shows symptoms of ill health or unsoundness on arrival, Your Horsemanship will not receive it on the yard. Please note we will only accept horses on the yard that have a passport showing up to date vaccinations, and that have been on a strict worming program.
